The opportunity:

Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a strategic and commercially savvy leader to join us as our Head of Commercial Acceleration Strategy. This is a high-impact role at the centre of our Commercial division, responsible for shaping strategy for the whole division, accelerating performance through strategic projects and unlocking value across the business.

In this position, you will lead the development and execution of our commercial strategy and transformation roadmap, driving initiatives that deliver meaningful revenue outcomes. Reporting into our Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll guide a high-performing team of Managers/Senior Managers and Analysts/ Senior Analysts to drive strategic projects forward. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to turn insight into action, and strategy into results.

  • Lead the development and execution of the Commercial strategy and transformation roadmap aligned to revenue ambitions
  • Translate strategy across key commercial areas including revenue management, marketing, channels and customer segments
  • Identify, prioritise and deliver high-impact strategic initiatives and deep-dive projects
  • Run strategy projects to unlock commercial opportunities and drive measurable outcomes
  • Partner closely with Finance, Network, Revenue Management and broader Commercial teams
  • Prepare and present clear, compelling insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including ELT and Board
  • Champion a data-led culture, using analytics to uncover trends, opportunities and performance drivers
  • Leverage tools such as Excel, PowerBI and broader data capabilities to inform decision-making
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of strategy and analytics professionals
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement


What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in a strategy focused management consulting team (ideally at least 6 years’ experience in management consulting)
  • Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive measurable outcomes
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience turning complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present at executive and board level
  • A natural ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritise effectively and drive results

We will consider international candidates for this role if they have strong leadership experience in an in-house strategy team, or a strategy focused management consulting team.
